SAVE ON EVERY FILL-UP WITH THE NEW CITGO REWARDS™ CREDIT CARD
Sep 10, 2012
Houston – Sept. 10, 2012 –The new CITGO Rewards proprietary credit card offers consumers a new way to save money on every fill-up. Consumers who apply for and are approved can use the CITGO Rewards Card to save five cents off every gallon of fuel purchased at any CITGO location. These savings will appear on the monthly statements of the Rewards Card users and apply to fuel purchases only. As an added benefit, there is no minimum purchase requirement and no limit on qualifying gallons.
“In today’s economy, customers are looking for the best value on everything they buy, from food to clothes to fuel and everything in between,” said Alan Flagg, general manager of light oils marketing for CITGO. “With five cents back on every gallon of fuel, people can stretch their dollars further by using their CITGO Rewards card. It is our way of saying thank you for fueling up at one of the locally owned and operated CITGO locations.”
Consumers can apply online at www.CITGORewardsCard.com, by calling 1-800-GO-CITGO or by completing and submitting an application that can be found at their local CITGO.
“Citi Retail Services and CITGO developed the CITGO Rewards Card with the best interests of customers in mind,” said Leslie McNamara, executive vice president, partnership management, Citi Retail Services. “The card is easy to use and the rewards show up each month on the card statements.”
