CITGO Sponsors Exhibit of Four Venezuelan Artists in Washington

The exhibit, entitled “Three Testimonials of Authenticity from
“Each of these four artists expresses their talent with the inspiration and love of
Three of the four featured artists -- Armando Villalón, Ramón Chirinos, painters; and Rosibel Ramírez, sculptor -- spoke about their methodology and inspiration. The exhibit also features painter Alirio Infante who was not present at the reception. In their remarks, the artists thanked CITGO for its support of the exhibit, which first opened for the three painters in Houston in December of last year, and will go on to New York in the spring.
“I firmly believe that in sponsoring this exhibit, we are not only promoting Venezuelan talent outside of Venezuela, but also offering an opportunity to connect our peoples, our cultures, and thus foster closer links between the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and the United States through the international language of art,” Granado stated to a crowd that included both Americans and Venezuelans.
