With an impressive 18-year B.A.S.S. career track that includes eight B.A.S.S. victories and nine CITGO BASSMASTERS Classic berths, Grigsby has attained legendary status in the bass fishing world. He ranks fourth in all-time B.A.S.S. money winnings and is one of a handful of anglers to have won more than $1 million dollars in B.A.S.S. prize money.
Grigsby's most recent fishing accomplishments include back-to-back BASSMASTER Tour victories in 2000 and winning a gold medal in the 2002 ESPN Great Outdoor Games' bass fishing division.
In 1997, Grigsby took his love for freshwater and saltwater fishing to cable television. One More Cast with Shaw Grigsby has been another successful chapter in Grigsby’s illustrious fishing career. The show was the highest ranked outdoors show on cable television for the first half of 2002 and is about to air its seventh season.
